Next Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 7 p.m., the conference will take place in the Sala de la Caritat of the Library of Catalonia “Emili Vendrell, with the light of his gaze”by Miquel Pérez, within the 4th Cycle “Historical Catalan Interpreters” of the Joan Manén Association.

The expert in singers Miquel Pérez – coordinator of the voice section of the website Historical Catalan performers–, will bring us closer to the figure of Emili Vendrell, Lluís Millet’s favorite student and renowned tenor, especially outstanding in the interpretation of songs by Catalan and Zarzuela composers. In this conference, Miquel Pérez will discover an unknown, complete and multifaceted artist, a Vendrell who will surprise.

The conference is organized by the Joan Manén Association with the support of the Library of Catalonia. theJoan Manén Association is an organization dedicated to the research, recovery and dissemination of Catalan musical heritage.
