Visita guiada inaugural d’Atrapa sons amb Núria Rovira Terradas – Centre Cívic Guinardó

Wednesday 9 of September at 18:00 h

On the occasion of the opening of the Atrapa sons exhibition, we invite you to take part in a guided tour by the artist Núria Rovira Terradas, who will offer a guided tour of this sound and visual installation created during the Eufònic / Lo Pati 2025 residency.

The visit will allow you to delve into the process of research and creation of the work, which takes as its starting point the bussón, a traditional trap for eel fishing in the Ebro Delta. Through sound recordings made at the Balada pier and an installation that transforms this fishing object into an immersive space, the artist invites us to listen to the nocturnal breathing of the river and reflect on the fragility of deltaic ecosystems.

Atrapa Sons offers an experience based on attentive listening, silence and care. The sounds, vibrations and images that inhabit the interior of the box evoke a vulnerable territory that continues to breathe despite the transformations and threats that affect it. Like the fishermen when they talk about “not making a crowd”, the work invites us to approach the Delta with respect, sensitivity and awareness.

During the visit, Núria Rovira will share the connections between artistic practice, territory and memory, as well as the collaborations that have made the project possible, developed thanks to the trust of Marcel·la and Marcel, owners of the fishing tackle and lights, and with the collaboration of the Fishermen’s Brotherhood of Sant Joan.

A unique opportunity to discover up close a work that turns listening into a form of attention and connection with the landscape of the Ebro Delta.
