Torna el Música Z – Centre Cívic Sagrada Família
The fifth edition of Música Z starts on January 9. The cycle of commented auditions will bring the emerging talent of Barcelona’s higher music schools to civic centers until March 27, 2026.
The program is a first real stage experience that allows you to play in front of the public, try out repertoire and start to take your place as on stage. For the public, the cycle is an open door to discover new proposals and very diverse styles, often before they reach the usual circuits. Commented auditions allow you to hear the music in context: the groups explain what they play, where it comes from and how each piece was constructed.
FOUR HIGH SCHOOLS OF MUSIC AND SEVENTEEN TRAININGS
The cycle includes seventeen formations arising from the Liceu Superior Conservatory of Musicof the Musicians’ Workshop Higher School of Musical Studiesof Superior Music Center Jam Session and of theHigher School of Music of Catalonia (ESMUC) offering an extensive program with a diversity of musical styles and languages.
THE TWELVE CIVIC CENTERS
For three months, there will be auditions in the CC Sagrada Família (Eixample), CC El Carmel (Horta – Guinardó), CC Josep Maria Trias i Peitx (Les Corts), CC Can Verdaguer i CC Torre Llobeta (New Neighborhoods), CC Navas i CC Old Trinity (Saint Andrew), CC El Sortidor (Sants – Montjuïc), CC Casa Orlandai, CC Pere Pruna i CC Villa Florida (Sarrià – Sant Gervasi) i CC Can Felipa (Sant Martí), which is included in this year’s program. Free tickets can be booked through the website of each centre, except for Can Verdaguer and Carmel, where there is no need to reserve a place.
