The Ordinances of 1614, the first regulation of the Seminary – Episcopal Public Library of Barcelona
We continue with the publication of the “Miscellaneous notes on the Conciliar Seminar of Barcelona” in the Catalunya Cristiana magazine. This October (no. 2,347, of October 20, p. 6), we publish a short Ordinations of the Episcopal College or Seminary of Our Lady of Montalegre in the city of Barcelona / made by order and command of the very illustrious and most reverend Señor don Luis Sans, bishop of Barcelona and His Majesty’s Council. And that they are, in effect, the first internal regulations that the Seminary had. They were written in Barcelona in January 1614, and are Manuscript number 300 in our library.
