Next Friday, November 15, at 8:30 p.m., the staging of the show “The Wolves of Guimerà”, performed by Valentí Maymó, will take place in the Sala de Llevant of the Biblioteca de Catalunya.
It is a proposal by the Bubulina Teatre company to make known the life of Àngel Guimerà and part of his poetic work, through one of his best-known characters, the shepherd Manelic, from Terra Baixa.
With dramaturgy by Jordi Lara and production by Gisela Figueras, this show recovers some of the best poetry of Àngel Guimerà, and also some poems set to music by Enric Morera, as popular as “La Santa Espina”, “Les fulles seques” or “La sardana of the nuns”.
Admission is free with limited capacity.
