Iris Flamenca | Gencat Cultural Agenda

Three women in the center of the stage, a flamenco that breathes tradition and that makes its way with contemporary airs. The repertoire of this trio, formed at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya, combines singing, dancing and guitar and an unexpected detail: it incorporates the contribution of the singer, who also plays the viola. The result of the combination is a singular, recognizable and uncommon sound in contemporary flamenco. A proposal that maintains the essence of the genre while opening it to new nuances.
