Genesis: Photograph of an alternative future
This proposal is an exhibition of science fiction photography born of the meeting between two artisans in the image of the experimental photo. Together, they venture to imagine a dystopian future, a scenario where most of society is relegated to survive outside of high technology and with shortage of resources.
In this scenario, photographic communities are erected on fundamental pillars to bring together materials and knowledge, through the union of photographers, chemists, scientists, artists and environmental defenders. Together, they rescue and adapt old forgotten photographic processes, using sunlight to print on plant surfaces, creating photosensitive objects with natural products, re -onding old mechanical cameras or building new ones from disused objects and using expired photosensitive roles in black and white, always with a low technology and environmental impact approach.
This exhibition is a reflection on the human capacity of adaptation and beauty that may arise even in the most challenging stages.
