CROSS CROSS CROSS – Centre Cívic Guinardó

Is there a clear relationship between fitness and farming? This project reflects on the contemporary paradigm of performance in human and non-human bodies, through discipline, transformation and control. Cross can be translated as crossing, furrowing or cross-country running, and here it functions as a hinge between the gymnasium and the agricultural imaginary through artistic production and popular memory rooted in the work of the land.

The project questions the normativity of discourses on hyperproduction to open spaces of resistance, with other possible bodies and other agri-food memories that make life possible.
