13-15/11 – XIX Meeting of Associations for the Defense of Cultural and Natural Heritage
The 13, 14 and 15 November 2026 will be held in Barcelona on XIX Meeting of Associations in Defense of Heritageorganized by the Unió pel Patrimoni (Union of Association for the Promotion and Defense of Cultural and Natural Heritage) and SOS Monuments, host association. This meeting will take place in the Pati Llimona (Carrer del Regomir, 3), cultural space of Barcelona City Council.
This one XIX Meetingwhose motto is “Living heritage: Participate, conserve, transform» will be a very special event to be part of the official programming of the World Capital of Architecture held by Barcelona during 2026. It will be attended by people from associations belonging to the Union and other patrimonial entities from all over Spain, with a special mention to the citizens’ associations of Barcelona, with the aim of debating the situation of our heritage and finding the best way to collaborate in its defence.
The attending associations will also have the opportunity to participate in panel 1 «Communicate the Heritage. Public awareness strategies» or in panel 2 «Participate to transform. Achievements and challenges of the heritage association movement», with communications of about 10 minutes, which must be indicated in this form.
