Convocatòria d’Arts Visuals 2027 – Centre Cívic Guinardó

he visual arts have been part of the identity of the Guinardó Civic Center for more than three decades. Throughout these years, the center has consolidated a continuous line of work that combines exhibition programming with cultural mediation actions, understanding artistic practice as a tool to generate dialogue, critical thinking and links with the territory.

This call aims to strengthen this line of work and consolidate a stable program throughout the year. It is open to artists and collectives of any professional background who wish to present a visual arts exhibition project with completed works. The aim is to promote the dissemination of works already completed, to encourage dialogue between artistic creation and the public and to contribute to a diverse and high-quality programme.

Each exhibition will incorporate a mediation activity or parallel activity open to the public, conceived as a meeting space between artistic practice and citizenship. The Guinardó Civic Center wants to reaffirm its commitment to contemporary visual arts, offering an exhibition space, relationship and proximity between artistic creation and the territory.

Nominations must be submitted within the established deadline through the following form i send to the email address informacio@ccguinardo.cat a dossier with detailed information about the project (see bases). The purpose of the call is to select the projects that will form part of the exhibition program of the center during the year 2027, proposals with artistic and conceptual quality will be assessed, which are adapted to the characteristics of the space exhibition, that present a quality and relevant mediation proposal, that can generate links with the territory and for its technical feasibility. The selected proposals will receive a financial allowance of €250 (gross amounts, if applicable) in terms of fees for the exhibition, and €150 (gross amounts, if applicable) to develop the mediation activity or parallel activity.

The period for receiving proposals will be open from Wednesday 22 July to Wednesday 30 September at 11:59 p.m.

The resolution will be made public during the month of October and it will be disseminated on the channels of the civic center (web and Instagram).
