“There is a body that we were given at birth and that we never get back. It changes, widens, wrinkles, softens, is filled with marks we don’t ask for and others we choose. And yet it is always the same: the house where everything that happens to us happens.
This exhibition traces this body from the girl to the old woman, not to measure what time takes away, but to look at what it leaves behind.
Each age is a different way of living. Each skin keeps what has been experienced.
There are no bodies here to correct or stages to regret. There are women inhabiting the only thing that is truly theirs. And this, face to face and without apology, is a celebration.”
