This scholarship program is aimed directly at students of any nationality who have obtained their undergraduate or graduate degree at a university outside the Catalan language domain and who are enrolled, or at least not admitted, in doctoral programs at universities also outside the Catalan language domain.
These doctoral training grants are intended to encourage the professionalization of researchers in Catalan studies and to make possible the full dedication of the beneficiary, for 36 months (modality A) or for 12 months (modality B), to original research in the field of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and with significant or majority content related to Catalan studies.
The scholarship covers doctoral tuition, if applicable, and an annual living allowance calculated by geographic area.
The call for 2026, to carry out the research from the beginning of the 2026-2027 academic year, will be open from June 29 to July 13.
