Tivoli Theatre Gencat Cultural Agenda

Theater introduction message:

  • “The Títre Tívoli opened its doors in 1919 programming the most acclaimed theatrical shows of the time: zarzuela, opera, revue and circus. 8 years later, it becomes cinema, although it still continues to do, sporadically, opera and music. In 1984 the Royal Shakespeare Company made its debut in Spain in this theater and since 1992 it has mainly hosted large-scale musical shows, ballets and text theater, starring artists of great national and international relevance. Personalities such as Ricardo Darín, Bruce Springsteen, Norma Leandro, Josep Maria Flotats, Àngel Llàcer have performed on this stage prepared for the most demanding shows that land in the city.”
  • “This theater has 3 floors with a total of 1,500 seats and enjoys unbeatable natural acoustics. Recently, we have hosted small alternative concerts both in the hall of the theater and in the Bar, particularly attracted by the welcoming aesthetics and the magical atmosphere that is generated. Even today, the characteristic decor of the last century is maintained, where moldings and plant motifs in golden color abound, as well as armchairs, curtains and deep red carpet that warn of what will be experienced inside. Everything that happens at the Títre Tívoli is experienced with overflowing magic.”
