From the darkest depths comes the dull rumble of BRUM, a new project that brings together some of the most significant voices of the national experimental scene -Pons, Caicedo, Reviriego, Trilla-, who come together in an exploration of territories where the borders of contemporary music, extreme metal and free improvisation blur. Over this icy landscape, Pelic’s vocals float like spells from a remote past, bringing new layers of depth and mystery to the group’s sound.
The quintet presents its first reference, self-released on cassette and recorded during August 2023 in sessions at the Canyamars ice well. The uniqueness of this space provides unique reverberating sounds. As if the underground well itself were another member of the band. Literally undeground music.
