The intervention “Dialogues of hope from contemporary art” is the beginning of a new cultural and pastoral project for the church of Sant Jaume in the city of Barcelona. The reason for this proposal is rooted in the celebration of the 2025 Jubilee, whose motto is “Pilgrims in hope”. The exhibited works invite us to dialogue around hope, both by themselves, from their interior, like a diptych, and between them and the existing heritage in the Capella del Santíssimo. With these works, we want to give visibility to what we expect and can’t see, and also to those we don’t expect or see; give voice to silence and the silenced.
