¡Super ola en el Port!

After the success of the first edition, Port Flea returns

The first edition was a great success with the public, atmosphere, shopping and music. So let’s go for the next one: we are waiting for you at the new Port Olímpic marina with 100 vintage and second-hand fashion stops, next Sunday, December 7, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. We add good gastronomy, a bar, and DJ programming thanks to Salvadiscos, which is always a guarantee of rocking it. And admission is free!

Sad Sundays are over, friend. Or at least, the first of each month. This is how I felt when I got off the bus facing the sea and walked the road to the new Port Olímpic. On one side, the sea, on the other the Mapfre towers and Frank Gehry’s little fish until I look out at the stairs. From there I saw, at the foot of the pontoon, what I expected from a place like this years ago: a good market, good music and people having a good time.

This second life that the navy now has fits everything sold in Port Flea like a glove: I fell in love with a like-new Carhartt coat that will come in handy for the winter, which will arrive sooner than you think; Matrix-style two-mile glasses that are great for me to continue walking between stalls; and some boots with silver glitter and black patent leather toes from Chanel in which I could have gotten up to dance on a stage if there was one. Afterwards I sat down to have a drink on the terrace in the sun, looking at the boats that I will never be able to buy.

Of course, afterwards I danced until Hanakito, the last DJ that Salvadiscos had programmed, released the turntables. And the moment couldn’t be more beautiful with the sun falling behind the towers and those pink and blue colors framing the afternoon. With my bags and heart full I returned to the bus wondering how no one had thought of an event like this in a place like this before.

So for the next one, let’s go for more: in addition to the 100 vintage, second-hand, design and art stops, we will have a solidarity pop up from Open Arms and a Drap Art exhibition of which we will tell you more details.

Do you want to participate?

And who doesn’t! The 80 stops go on sale on Friday, November 7 at 12 noon for members.

For all the others, the following Friday, November 14, also at 12 noon.
