Mecal 360º | Gencat Cultural Agenda

The festival Mecal 360ºdedicated to cinema and new technologies, this year is committed to exploring the limits between image, memory, authorship and truth, under the curator of Artefacto Films.

The 2025 edition invites the public to a journey that questions the real: “When the archives are generated, the witnesses are cloned and the metadata is published, how do we represent the truth?”. Under this premise, on October 1, 2 and 3, open and open and free conferences, workshops and sessions are analyzed, which analyze the ways in which artificial intelligence, algorithms and new digital tools transform our bond with image, time, memory and artistic creation.
