The Copp ͏de͏ Sant Feliu de Llobr͏gat is born and is presented in a joint event with other collaborative initiatives to defend the historical, cultural and natural legacy of the city – Ateneu
La Copp (the Coordinator for Heritage and Landscape) of Sant Feliu de Llobregat is presented as a new reference in the defense of the historical, cultural and natural legacy of the city. This citizen initiative, promoted by various local entities, arises in response to the constant threat of urban planning on local heritage.
The coordinator is born in response to years of loss of goods due to intense construction and work ͏ in large ones. The lack of C.Sros plans pe͏r caring for the e -element of architecture and Nat͏ura has left the local heritage very weak and within the framework of this socio -economic and cultural situation, the Copp is born.
Objectives and commitments
COPP pursues three main goals:
- Joining efforts between people and entities defending heritage
- Visit the threats that endanger the heritage elements of the city.
- Propose solutions actively collaborating with the Administration to guarantee the preservation and promotion of the Santfeliuenc legacy.
A value proposition
With the creation of this coordinator, Sant Feliu has gained a collective and powerful voice to defend his past and ensure that future generations can enjoy his heritage. In addition to reporting possible attacks on the heritage, COPP is intended to be an active interlocutor with institutions to promote the conservation, restoration and dissemination of heritage. Betting on a city with a memory, where the conservation of heritage is a priority and defending a model of sustainable development that will be economic growth with the protection of the environment and cultural heritage, making it accessible to everyone.
The founding entities are: 1854 association, Friends of nature, Sant Feliu Research and Studies Grouping (ARES), Local roots, Mine study team and other water roads, Apeu, Art Circuit Association, Ateneu Santfeliuenc, Urban Community of Sant Feliu de Llobregat and MTK SPACE.
The entities that support are: Cinebaix Association, Friends of the Roses and Llob.

Thursday, March 27 – Presentation of COPP and APEU
On Thursday 27 at 19h, we invite you to the Ateneu Santfeliuenc for the presentation of the Coordinator for the Heritage and the Landscape of Sant Feliu de Llobregat (CPP) and Sant Feliu APEU (Association for the promotion of the urban spaces of Sant Feliu de Llobregat). Apeuwill be a new initiative aimed at disseminating proposals for the transformation of the city, incorporating global experiences and the study of its applicability in our city. The presentation “ A critical look at the urban planning and the landscape of Sant Feliu de Llobregat ” will be given by Joan Carles Sallas i Puigdellívol, urban architect and president of the Association for the Defense and Study of Nature (ADENC), who will give a conference, which will then give rise to a colloquium and an open debate.
Sunday, March 30 – Guided tour of the farmhouse of Can Furriol
A day of discovery and reflection on the future of Sant Feliu and its natural surroundings. The activity will serve to get to know the cooperative project underway to rehabilitate the Can Furriol farmhouse, led by the Cooperativa La Rural. During the day, topics such as: cooperative housing, forestry and water management, architecture and historical heritage, life in isolated environments, future projects by Can Furriol will be addressed.
Thursday, April 3 – Screening of water mines documentaries
CineBaix opens the doors for the screening of documentaries “The other paths of the water” and “Water mines, we discover Collserola”. Once the projection is over, a colloquium will open, dealing with topics such as the ability to supply the people through irrigation and other ways that are not taken into account as old structures.
Saturday, April 5 – Day ‘We clean Collserola’
Four entities from Sant Feliu (The revolt, ADF, Wisdom and order and the friends of nature) They are united to organize a new edition of ‘Cleperem Collserola’, an environmental volunteer action within the framework of the international project Let’s Clean Up Europe! The activity seeks to raise awareness of the importance of preserving natural spaces through a responsible and sustainable action of cleaning the Collserola Park.
Sunday, April 6 – Walking for the works @burnt.
A guided tour through the walking route through the underground layout and will be commented on by specialists in various subjects. You can see first hand, as the structure of the works of a heritage good and how the removal of the railway infrastructure will release public land over 1.5 km from the city center, and what will happen with this soil and with the new city projection. Open to all audiences.
COPP invites all citizens to participate actively in these activities and to unite efforts to protect and vindicate the historical, cultural and natural heritage of Sant Feliu de Llobregat.
