3rd edition of the UESCOOP! – Athenaeum

The Summer University of Cooperativism (UESCOOP) arrives this year in its third edition, consolidating itself as a space for key meeting and learning for young people interested in the social and solidarity economy. The event will take place from July 2 to 4, and will bring together students, professionals and activists from all over the territory to reflect on the role of cooperativism in the construction of a fairer and more sustainable future.

With more than 20 scheduled activities, the UESCOOP 2025 will address key topics such as economic democracy, eco -social transition, innovation and technology, housing and care, culture and communities, as well as research and the academic world.

Under the motto “People at the center, what?“this edition invites to reflect critically on the role of people in social transformation, emphasizing co -operatives as a collective and emancipatory tool.

Among the highlights, there will be the participation of the Cooperativa Jackson of the United States, who will share his experience in economic democracy and community sovereignty.

The UESCOOP is organized by the Confederation of Cooperatives of Cataloniawith the support of various entities in the cooperative, academic and institutional world.
