Barcelona was the protagonist of the most feared epidemic of all time, the black plague. We will delve into the medieval past of the city, reconstructing those weeks of 1348 to learn from the actions and decisions of our ancestors.

We will analyze the consequences, some still in force, of a critical moment of history, which meant a before and after the golden age of Catalan trade and influence in the Mediterranean.
