07/02 – 7 p.m. Inauguration: REVEALING THE NEIGHBORHOOD – Zero Gravity Network
Collective exhibition made by the participants of the analogue photography workshop of the Gravity Free Network. Coordinate for Paula Barber.
From 2 to 25 July 2026.
The exhibition offers a plural view of the Old Town, exploring its rhythm, contrasts and small details through the experience of those who travel through it.
Starting from the analogical process – from the act of looking to the revealed -, each participant stops at what catches their attention or generates an emotion, giving rise to images that combine the urban with an intimate and personal look.
The project starts from a simple idea: two people can look at the same place and see completely different things. This diversity of views is the heart of the exhibition. Beyond what is visual, “Revealing the neighborhood” is also an invitation to observe more carefully and rediscover what is everyday from a more conscious and sensitive perspective.
Activity organized in collaboration with theNicosia Association.
Carme Garcia room.
Opening: July 2 at 7 p.m.
This exhibition is part of the programming of the Lemonades Festival 2026.
What is Zero Gravity?
Workshops, laboratories, seminars and network actions. Spaces without gravity, meeting from levity and simultaneous intensity. Spaces without labels, for accompaniment and artistic and cultural experimentation. Possible encounters where individual symbolic production is as important as interaction between people. Instances of collective production open to citizens and articulated from a sensitive predisposition towards those people who have lived experiences in the field of mental health and functional diversity.
Nikosia is a device, a collective and an association made up of people with and without medicalized itineraries of suffering: there are artists, economists, philologists, writers, poets, dieticians, doubt professionals, psychologists, educators, anthropologists and a great etc. From here it is claimed as a social place in which the struggle avoids forced identity exclusivities to open up to the plurality necessary in any meeting that tries to address the complex.
