XAC meeting in Coop Camp – Ateneo

Last Thursday, June 5, the Motor Group of the XAC held a new meeting in Santa Coloma de Queralt, welcomed by the companions of the Ateneu Coop Camp. This day is part of the continuous work of the network to strengthen the collaboration between the various cooperative Athenians throughout the territory and to promote a collective, democratic, transformative and deeply rooted economy in local contexts.

During the meeting, several key issues were addressed for the consolidation of the collective project. An important space was dedicated to working on the continuity of the model and shared fears and uncertainties, at a time when social and economic challenges make it more necessary than ever to rethink joint strategies and share learning. An in -depth assessment of interest groups and working groups was also made, in order to analyze their evolution, identify strengths and detect areas of improvement or new opportunities for collaboration.

The meeting allowed to share various territorial experiences and generate a space of trust where the people representatives of the different Athenians were able to openly dialogue, share concerns and strengthen bonds. Once again, the importance of weaving network was made clear to address global challenges from rooting and commitment to local realities.

With these meetings, the Cooperative Athenian Network reaffirms its commitment to the promotion of an economic model that puts people and the common good at the center, and is consolidated as a reference space for the revitalization of the social and solidarity economy in Catalonia.
