What will ‘Groundhog Day’ be like? First images!
Catalan gains prominence in the musicals on the Barcelona billboard. The day of the groundhog adds to the achievements of sea and sky, soul, Lizzieor relatives The invisible thread, The Little Prince or Alan. Under the direction of Enric Cambray i Manu Chalkthis tale of second chances is being translated into another language for the first time following its smash hit in 2016 in London. The premiere will take place on December 23 at Coliseum Theatre from Barcelona.

Roc Bernadí i Diana Roig lead a cast where 16 performers, six musicians and the choreographies of Miriam Blessed they will shape a score with folk, rock, pop and funk rhythms.
The musical adapts the film ‘Trapped in Time’ (1993), a popular comedy that follows the adventures of Phil Connorsa grumpy TV weatherman gets stuck in time and has to relive February 2nd, the day in Punxsutawney, a small, boring, rural town in the United States, a groundhog comes out of its burrow and in this way it predicts when winter will end. Love will make a surprise appearance in this time loop that has triumphed on stages in London and New York after hitting screens around the world.
