The Ateneu Cooperatiu del Baix Llobregat is a point of reference for all those people, groups and entities that want to promote projects with social, democratic and sustainable values. But… what services exactly does it offer? In this article we explain it to you!
Support for social economy projects
Do you have a collective idea and want to transform it into reality? The Ateneo accompanies you throughout the process of creating and consolidating a social and solidarity economy (ESS) project: from the first steps to launch and growth. We also help you transform an association into a cooperative or strengthen projects already in operation.
Training for a transforming economy
We organize free courses, workshops and training capsules on key topics: cooperative management, sustainability, care, ethical financing, business strategy, collective leadership, communication, and much more. The trainings are adapted to different levels and profiles (entrepreneurs, organizations, interested people…).
Networking and inter-cooperation
We don’t walk alone. From the University, we promote the connection between projects and the creation of synergies between entities in the territory. We organize meeting spaces, conferences and sectoral circles to encourage collaboration and share learning.
Diffusion of SSE and awareness
We believe that ESS should be known, recognized and loved. That is why we carry out communication and awareness actions in the streets, in schools, on the networks and throughout the territory. We participate in fairs, organize activities and promote campaigns to make visible another way of doing business and living.
Territorial and sectoral work
We work to detect real needs in the territory and generate collective responses from cooperativeism. We do this through thematic circles such as care, sustainability, culture and social, which connect projects that work in related fields.
Responsible public procurement
We support administrations that want to incorporate social criteria in their public procurement, and also ESS entities that want to access it. Public procurement can be a key tool to grow cooperatives and transform the economy.
