We release materials to spread cooperativism
At Coòpolis we have been working on the idea of facilitate the access of all people to the Social and Solidarity Economyand specifically, to cooperativism. For this reason we have decided to recover “the streets” communicatively speaking, and once again generate printed material to be able to distribute in different strategic spaces of the city.
We generated four new materials which we consider necessary and which we detail below:
– Catalog of accompaniments for cooperatives and ESS projects: A document in booklet format that includes all the services that Coòpolis offers to the public, and that, thanks to the public financing of the project, has no cost for all the people who use them. In this document you will find the services we offer, but also the perspective from which we work. In addition, we explain how to request each service and from which channels you can contact us.
– FAQS of the Migration and ESS Help Desk: a simple and practical document for quick reference that can solve some of the most frequent questions that people who contact our service have.
– FAQS of the Cooperative Housing Help Desk: it is a material that collects the typical questions that are formulated at the point of care. With them we want to give simple answers to the most generic doubts and thus be able to take advantage of the personalized attention sessions to solve these pitfalls faced by people who start a housing project, who want to join an already formalized group, or who have doubts about the model and its operation.
– FAQS for the creation and management of a cooperative: this website collects information on financing, economic and labor management, corporate aspects, obligations and business models of cooperatives. The information is organized into categories and subcategories for easy reference. This resource is only available online.
Aware of the ecological impact that this production of material has, but without neglecting the appreciation that everything we generate in the digital field also has an impact, we have defined some criteria that these campaigns must comply with:
– That the material is durable, that is to say, that its content does not expire quickly over time.
– Short runs of material, since we have previously defined the spaces and quantities. We don’t want it to accumulate material and be stored in a drawer.
– Choose local printing suppliers that follow ecological printing criteria.
The distribution of this material will also be done consciously, counting on the services of logistics cooperatives located in the city and which provide an effective and local service. With these measures, in addition to facilitating access to information for all citizens, we are also participating in the active revitalization of various city services that operate under the slogans of a fairer and more sustainable economy for people.
