TORNA EL CIRCUIT DE LES ARTS ESCÈNIQUES I LA MÚSICA – Centre Cívic Guinardó
From February 6 to April 26, SCENE will be in more than thirty civic centers. 11 weeks full of theatre, circus, dance and live music await you. In total, 145 functions and concerts with free access with reservation.
The 19th edition of Escena brings an offer of theater for all audiences; the humor and stunts of the circus; the poetry of dance and the music live from established and emerging artists.
The circuit starts on February 6. It does so in five venues in the city of the Civic Centers Network: three concerts and two theatrical performances, which will be the first of the 145 free-access functions scheduled there until Sunday, April 26, the last day of the spring season. The rest of the functions – up to a total of 178 – are special sessions aimed at children’s, primary and secondary school groups from the different neighbourhoods. On the website of Barcelona Cultural District you can consult spaces and timetables and book seats.
This season we have circus artists like Pepa Plana or Jordi Panareda; with established musicians like Lola Stouthamer or Lalo Lopez and emerging youth like Mar Pujol or Abraham Lojoamong many others. And with prominent theater and dance companies like Fantastic Wonderful, The Deviation, The Draft or the Valencian, Temple of Vesta.
Escena wants to bring the performing arts and live music closer to the neighborhoods and for culture to be a close and shared space for everyone. For this reason, access is free with reservation and, aside from the shows, there are workshops, talks and colloquiums, master classes and free cultural routes scheduled for the coming weeks. A whole agenda of activities and complementary free proposals for all audiences who invite to be part of the culture.
