Both in architecture and in life, everything is a matter of perspective. If we widen our gaze, we will be able to observe what had gone unnoticed until now. This is what we seek with our workshops: to discover new imaginaries that allow you to place yourself in a different place, and thus foster your critical spirit.
This 2026, Barcelona will be the World Capital of Architecture and that is why in our winter program you will find some workshops related to this topic: Beyond Antoni Gaudí: a journey through his artistic legacy with Alba Vendrell, where we will combine classroom sessions with visits to spaces such as the Güell Crypt; Architecture in Ancient Egyptby Susana Alegre; Neoclassical architecture: art, thought and the city in 18th and 19th century Europewhere we will delve, with Isabel Bargalló, into this movement that wanted to recover the ideals of Greco-Latin antiquity; i Corners of Barcelona: amazing interiors (option of tuesday and of Wednesday), an outing workshop by Oleguer Biete, in which we will discover small treasures such as the Miralles Tagliabue architectural studio or the Tile Archive.

Now we’re leaving architecture behind to present you with other novelties from the quarter’s programming, of which there are quite a few! in the branch ofactualitywe will get to d(IA) with the workshop Discovering artificial intelligence: a new digital allyby Judith Canelles. We will also try to understand the current conflicts in the Middle East, with special attention to Palestine and Israel, by the hand of Ricard González, in The six recent wars in the Middle East: Palestine, Yemen, Syria, Iran, Libya and Sudan.
With reference to the scope of the historywe want to highlight a new workshop to (re)discover our city’s past: History of Barcelona: from Roman times to the 18th centurywith Peter Cowley. We continue with a proposal about anthropology, Faces of the sacred: the great religious traditionsin charge of Thibault Arthur Tienwhere we will look at Taoism, Hinduism or Buddhism, among others.

in the branch ofart and the thoughtwe emphasize Art Nouveau: Modernism in Europe with Judith Soler; Film genres: film noir with Enric Ros; i Sound lives Essential figures of classical music with Fausto Murillo, in which we will discover unforgettable performers such as Cecilia Bartoli, Teresa Berganza, Daniel Barenboim or Carlos Kleiber. Journey to your essencewith Patricia Giménez-Salinas, where the connection with nature will be the common thread and will be a resource for living with a higher quality of life, also in the city. In the category of helloto Lifelong nutrition for healthy old age the Victoria Garcia will provide us with practical advice to maintain a lifestyle that promotes a good quality of life.
If you like to move your body, we also have new proposals for you: Woman Fitness with Clarissa Fontana, a workshop that combines strength and cardio exercises with the wisdom of Qigong, to help you manage your hormonal changes; i Let’s Swing! Dance to the rhythm of jazzwhere we will travel through dance to the crazy twenties, thanks to the teaching staff of El Taller del Swing.

For the most creative souls, we propose the workshops Draw like the great artists with Pablo del Pozo, where we will visit museums and artistic spaces to draw on site the most emblematic works, Reuse your clothes with mendingpatchwork and sashikowhere we will mend garments with creative sewing techniques by the hand of Áurea López, i Get started in handmade jewelryin which with the help of Julia Mirete we will learn to design our own jewelry in silver, bronze and copper.
And finally, a gastronomic option for the most cooky: Lebanon on the table. With Ali Chbib we will learn to prepare arayas, kafta, xix tauk, musakaa vegetable… A delight for the taste!
