This Week at The Comedy Clubhouse: December 9-15
Hello, hello! It finally feels like winter, so come get cozy at The Comedy Clubhouse! Nothing warms you up faster than a drink and a laugh!
This weekend we’re bringing back our Versus show where we’ll figure out who is funnier: stoners, or drinkers! It’s a stand-up comedy showcase where we book killer acts to represent 2 teams, and let the audience vote at the end which team did better. What do they win? Absolutely nothing, except the feeling of pride from getting more applause. So, who do you think will make you laugh more? The potheads with their wacky, out-there ideas? Or the alcoholics with some crazy stories they barely remember being a part of? Come decide on Friday at 8pm!

Marnie Manning is an energetic and integral comic in the Barcelona comedy scene for the past 7 years. She was the first comic to perform in English at Cruilla Festival and Don’t Tell Comedy Europe. Marnie opens for Michelle Wolf in Ireland, the UK, and USA. Catch her while she’s here!

🫂 Kyla Cobbler is back in town for Kyla Cobbler & Friends! She’ll be hosting up a storm with her iconic crowd work and storytelling, plus a lineup of hilarious friends including James Regal, Luke Messina, and more!
🌶️ Our spiciest game show is on this week! Check out Hot Juans, hosted by Luke Messina and Stuart Kennedy, the show where comedians eat spicy foods and take on comedy challenges. Expect stand up, improv, and more!
🆚 We’re going to find out who is funnier: stoners or drinkers! Versus is a stand up showcase where comedians represent 2 teams, and the audience votes at the end which team was funnier. There’s no prize, it’s just a little marketing gimmick. Is it working?
🎤 Radu Isac is bringing his latest hour to the CCH! Radu started comedy in his former home of Romania where he was known as Romania’s “comedians’ comedian”. Shortly after moving to London, he was a finalist in the English Comedian of the Year competition. Radu has made a name for himself as the king of the misanthropes, setting out his bleak world view one gag at a time. His sugar-coated depravity forces laughs out of those who should really know better – venomous but twinkly, like a snake dipped in glitter. His stand up was featured on multiple BBC, Channel 4 and Comedy Central programs. He opened for the likes of Louis CK and Jim Gaffigan.
💘 Looking for love in all the wrong places? Here’s one more! Lolyamorous is a live speed-dating show, where you can sign up to go on a date with another random audience member (all genders and sexualities welcome!) and then get interviewed by the Lolyamorous panel, including comedians and a sex/relationship expert. It’s a fun way to meet new people while laughing and having a great Saturday night!
