The Ship in the world: first voyage of 2026

Now that we have landed from ours a few days ago last trip to Chilewe do a little review and share some thoughts. already more than 10 years that, little by little, we have been weaving one great network where from south to north and, in varying degrees, we have been building one solid bridge with this country. We have made many round trips, hundreds of companies from both sides of the ocean have crossed this bridge and we have always learned and discovered something new in this continuous transit.

On this occasion, the reason for the trip was mainly the 15th anniversary of Festival Santiago Offwith whom we have been collaborating for many years and we couldn’t miss this special celebration. But whenever we go there we want to take the opportunity to get to know and discover new spaces, projects and potential travel companions, and this time, it was no different.

In this 2026, we have finally been able to live and know first hand the South Window Festival. Although we have been sharing and collaborating with the Cuerpo Sur Foundation (organizers of the festival) for a long time, we had never been able to experience it and we really wanted to.

We have discovered a space made with great care and with a special sensitivity. A way to accompany a whole year of research processes that have their end point, in process opening format, during a week at the festival. Seeing and learning other ways to accompany residences, to think about them and to present them has been one of the learnings of this trip, apart from discovering some very interesting artistic proposals.

Being able to share this look at the residences and the processes gives meaning to the effort involved in internationalization. In addition, participating and listening to the debates generated in the different instances means that for us, the internationalization be a learning journeywhere the Nau grows and rethinks everything, questioning himselfwhich at the moment we are in is very important.

Another project we met was Balmaceda Arte Jovenin Santiago. Although we have known and worked with the project’s headquarters in Valparaíso for years, this year we were able to live and enjoy the Emergent Scene festival. A space where young companies can have residences for creation and presentations of their processes with very careful support and in which we feel very identified.

We also enjoyed more than twenty pieces and processes in which we discovered some small wonders that we hope to be able to accompany this year and of course, we celebrated, toasted and enjoyed with all the friends we have and who make us feel at home.

Nau continues to grow and rethink itself, and to be able to do so by learning in contexts that have so much to say and teach us, and of which we also feel part, is incredible.

Very soon we will share many more thoughts about internationalization, but for now, we leave you with this taste.

We continue to bring the Ship to the world!
