On the occasion of the exhibition by the Colombian Artist Carlos Motta, Macba Will Present in Program of Live Arts, Music and Performance in Summer 2025.
The Program Will Take the Form of a Queer Gathering to Retink Narratives About The HIV/Aids Pandemic Past and Present, with an Emphasis on Perspectives from the Global South. The queer/leather International will bring together artists, Thinkers and Activists Who Construct Other Stories and Narratives About The Aids Crises from Intersectional and Decolonial Perspective that Distances Itself from the Global North’s Hegemonic Historiography While Created Local Alternatives Central on the Specificities of Context.
