The family of the antique dealer of the ADULTerats group
Count Anselmo, from an old noble family, has brought the family to ruin because of his fondness for acquiring antiques, with the paradox that he is very ignorant of the matter and, therefore, is easily deceived. In order to improve the financial situation of the house, he manages to marry his son to Doralice, daughter of Pantalone, a rich bourgeois. All this with the opposition of Countess Isabella, who disowns the marriage.
Written by the Italian playwright Carlo Goldoni and premiered on the occasion of the Venice Carnival of 1750.
