The Fair of Solidarity and Interculturality fills the Plaza de la Vila with diversity, coexistence and vindication – Ateneu
Last Friday, October 10, the Plaça de la Vila de Sant Feliu de Llobregat became a living space and shared with the celebration of the third edition of the Solidarity and Interculturality Fair. The activity, which closes the 2nd fortnight of solidarity and interculturality, gathered entities, groups and citizenship in a day that emphasized the cultural richness of the municipality and the solidarity spirit that characterizes it.
From early in the morning, the center of Sant Feliu hosted a wide range of recreational and demanding proposals: pintacares workshops, henna tattoos, traditional games, dance dances and music, culinary tastings and an anti -rumor workshop have shaped a day designed for all audiences, with an inclusive and transformative look.
The fair was, once again, an opportunity to get a closer look at the work carried out by many entities in the territory, as well as to generate meeting spaces and dialogue between cultures and generations. In addition, the day served to make visible initiatives that promote coexistence, human rights and social cohesion in our closest environment.
Among the organizing entities and participants stand out AfapCommunity Work Network, CineBaix, Ateneu Santfeliuencthe Sant Feliu anti -rumor network, Citizens defending human rightsLa Diputación de Barcelona and the Department of Social Rights and Inclusion of the Generalitat de Catalunya, among many others who could share their projects and experiences with the citizenry.
The fair has once again proved that solidarity and interculturality are not only values, but also everyday practices that build a fairer, more diverse and cohesive society. A day that not only celebrates what we are already, but also inspires to continue working for what we want to be.
