The 2026 Strategic Council of the Baix Llobregat Cooperative University defines the challenges and priorities for the coming year – Ateneu


Last January 22, the Ateneu Cooperatiu del Baix Llobregat celebrated a new edition of the Strategic Council, a key collective space to continue defining, from shared intelligence, the course of the Ateneu and the main challenges of the social and solidarity economy in the Baix Llobregat for the year 2026.

During the meeting, the lines of work of the University were shared, proposals were analyzed and new opportunities were identified to strengthen the cooperative fabric and continue to grow a transforming socio-economic model, rooted in the territory. The dynamics of the day fostered a climate of collaboration that made it possible to add diverse views and generate contributions of value.

During the session, issues such as the consolidation of collective projects, the promotion of new alliances, the support of emerging initiatives and the reinforcement of the cooperative networks of the Baix Llobregat were also addressed, while placing people, care and participation at the center of the action. In this framework, several innovation projects were presented in the territory that exemplify the transformative potential of the social and solidarity economy in the region. Specifically, the Co_Innova Torre del Roser projects were announced, aimed at promoting social innovation and collective entrepreneurship in the territory; Bridging the gap, focused on reducing social and digital inequalities; the Regional Council’s TTT Program, which promotes cooperation and sustainable local development; The Ágora de la Terra, a meeting space around the ecological transition and food sovereignty; V-TOOLS, focused on the development of digital tools for the social and solidarity economy; and Watteco, linked to the promotion of sustainable and community energy models.

The day reaffirmed the commitment of the Baix Llobregat Cooperative University to a fairer, democratic and transformative economy, able to respond to the real needs of the region. The event culminated in a networking space aimed at creating synergies, which made it possible to network, meet again, build alliances and strengthen collaboration between the people and entities participating.
