TALLER | I ˙˙˙ı̣ ɯnןן ‘ʇɐɹoɟ ‘ɐxı̣ɐɔ
Friday July 3 | From 18 to 20 h
Sometimes the simplest things are also the most surprising: all it takes is a cardboard box, a small hole and a beam of light for the world to appear upside down in the darkness.
In this workshop we will play and experiment with the phenomenon of the camera obscura, linked to the basic principles of photography and human vision. From recycled cardboard boxes, we will build simple optical devices that, as if they were cabins, shelters or small cities of light and darkness, will immerse us in a reality that makes us laugh. Instead of encapsulating anything, we will explore the possibilities of these boxes and play with new ways of perceiving.
In charge of Mireia Hallsomeone who, with as much care as chance, plays and experiments with an attentive and sensitive look at everyday life. It slips through the cracks, lets itself be carried by the whispering wind and launches itself through the curves of the questions, opening spaces for dialogue about perception, communication and artistic languages. A constellation of processes and gestures that listen to the poetics of what is close and often imperceptible.
Participants must bring a cardboard box, found or recycled; the bigger the better.
Free activity.
you can reserve your place here up to two days before the activity.
