Taller de porcellana i llum – Centre Cívic Guinardó

Monday July 6 | From 18 to 21 h

Creative workshop to work with translucent porcelain and discover how light transforms shapes and drawings. We will experiment with textures, reliefs and designs created by ourselves on porcelain.

We will create pieces from porcelain slabs and explore two ways of generating light patterns: using hollowing tools to perforate and engrave the surface, or by incorporating textures and natural materials pressed onto the ceramic. You can bring dry leaves, fabrics, engraving plates or any textured element that you think is interesting to stamp on the pieces. If you have tools or material to work with ceramics, we also recommend you bring them.

A proposal to experiment with light and ceramics, aimed at people with or without previous experience.
