
Taller de Músics presents ‘Calle Barcelona’ in Sónar 2025
The next 12th of Junio in Sónar Día, Taller de Músics will premiere Calle Barcelonaa new production that is re -covered by the pianist Chano Domínguez and to the producer Bronchio in a spot that rinde tribute to the work of Paco de Lucía From a contemporary look, between flamenco, jazz and electronics. Chano Domínguez, figure of Flamenco-Jazz at international level, brings his unmistakable style and capacity of improvisation to this project, mients that bronchio, one of the most personal numbers of the new Spanish electronic electronic, offer a focus on the production. Propest Talents of the Taller de Músics quarry: Irene Ribas (sing), Pol Garcia (trumpet) y Joaquín de la Cruz (percussion), which together with the main trio have created a sound reinterpretation of themes as Zyryab, Almoraima, Between two aguas or Solo I want to walkCombinando Electronic in Direct, Improvisation and Flemish Memory.
Each one of the musicians contributes a unique voz: Ribas, with his dominion of palos as the Taranta or Los tientos, introduces a special freshness; Garcia, with a faster formation of flamenco, adds an unexpected lymph since the trumpet; and of the Cruz, knowing the gaditous rhythms, lasted with fluidez with the seigenous sections of bronchio.
The result is a unique spectacle in which each agreement and each beat evokes the figure of Paco de Lucía, abrigo a diálogo between tradition and avant -garde in the framework of the Sónar festival.
