“In Catalonia, Athenians had their own characteristics that differentiated them from the rest of Europe: popular sociability, pedagogical vocation and a desire to create social and cultural cohesion. All in the spirit of improving the formation of the most disadvantaged classes.” This is a quote from the feature film, which tells in an hour the contribution that these cultural entities have made in the construction of Catalan society, for two centuries and until the present day, and helps to relate the historical memory of our country.

At the end of the projection, at the round table, we will talk about the governance of the different spaces of private and public initiative, about what the local culture facilities are and how we imagine the future of community culture.
