Santa Madrona festivities in the Poble-sec neighborhood of Barcelona


From March 13 to 15, the Town-dry live them festivities of Santa Madrona. To celebrate, the neighborhood’s organizations have organized more than thirty activities, including a visit to Refuge 307, a gathering of collectors, a castle festival, bonfire, chocolate bar, paella, sausage…

On Sunday, the Castellers del Poble Sec, known as the Bandarres, will offer their display of castles at the castle day that will be held in Plaça de Santa Madrona. A popular sausage sizzle and a musical game will mark the end of the festivities, which offer many other activities throughout the weekend.
