Ruta de les plantes comestibles pel Recinte del Campus de l’Alimentació de Torribera (UB – Santa Coloma) – Centre Cívic Guinardó
Monday 16 February at 12.00 pm
On the sides of the streets and in the green areas of our cities grow wild plants that have historically been given a food, medicinal or other use. These plants are falling into oblivion and, above all, out of use, but they have nutritional, gastronomic, medicinal and cultural value, which we want to contribute to revaluing and disseminating. This motivation has led us to prepare and present to you the “Guide to food plants in the Torribera site: knowledge and culinary uses” through a guided tour with one of its authors, Dr. Joan Vallès Xirau, professor of botany at the Department of Biology, Health and Environment at the University of Barcelona.
