Plotting the Metropolis, strategic planning seminars
The cycle of itinerant seminars Plot the Metropolis wants to boost one collective strategic reflection on the role of the Social and Solidarity Economy (ESS) in the Barcelona metropolis.
It will consist of five sessions between April and July, and will combine analysis and collective work to produce one shared diagnosis and define strategic lines in key areas such as care, food, housing, energy, technological sovereignty and industry. All together with one transversal feminist, anti-racist and decent work perspective.

A process of metropolitan articulation
These seminars want to become one meeting space, thinking and articulation for the set of territorial agents of the ESS (cooperative schools, urban communities, cooperative poles, local networks of the XES and other initiatives) as well as for all those people and groups interested in building economic alternatives on a metropolitan scale.
The cycle is organized from one inter-cooperation process by Coòpolis Cooperative Universities, The Collective, North Barcelona i Low Llobregatin the framework of Block4 Diagnostic Service.
Calendar of seminars
1st session. How are needs resolved in the metropolitan area?
April 16 – 11 am 1 pm – Teatre la Colmena, Santa Coloma de Gramenet.
With Sergio Porcel (Metròpoli Institute), Ivan Miró (LCI) and Berta Riera (Coòpolis and IDRA).
2nd session. Access to care and food in the metropolitan area. Simultaneous work and analysis sessions.
April 30 – 11 am 2 pm – L’Hospitalet de Llobregat.
3rd session The state of the industry and technological infrastructures in the AMB. Simultaneous work and analysis sessions.
May 21 – 11 am 2 pm – Sant Feliu de Llobregat.
4th session Access to housing and energy in the AMB. Simultaneous work and analysis sessions.
June 15, 11 am 2 pm – El Prat de Llobregat.
5th session Proposals for a common agenda for urban socio-economic transformation.
July 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Block 4, Barcelona.
