Passar per alt, construïm un estel – Centre Cívic Guinardó
Monday, July 13 | From 18 to 20 h
Family workshop
We often look at what surrounds us without observing it, we move through space instead of inhabiting it, we feel but without hearing. Tona Borbonet’s practice unfolds around this line of research. This kite building workshop, inspired by the Passar per alt project, proposes a space of manual creation and collective participation where each participant will build their own kite, an object that invites you to look up and stop for a moment. A small gesture to break the inertia of the day to day, to stop looking at the ground and start observing what surrounds us and often goes unnoticed.
Time to fly kites!
In charge of Tona Borbonet Álvarez (Barcelona, 2004). His research is developed around memory, popular tradition and play as spaces of cultural transmission and collective construction. He understands memory as a living experience that goes beyond the written text: it lives in the voice, the gesture, the look. Through artistic creation, his practice seeks to activate dialogues and weave community, while rethinking our bond with the spaces we live in.
Family workshop (for children from 5 years old).
Children must also reserve a place; each adult can accompany a maximum of 2 children.
Free activity.
You can book your place here, up to two days before the activity.
