Literary Colloquium Berlin It is a forum of reflection, experimental workshop and talent factory, which promotes exchange and interaction with foreign institutions. Founded in 1963, it is one of the most recognized literary institutions at European and international levels and has established itself as a reference space for contemporary literary creation, exchange and reflection.
The international writing residence is located in a villa in the Wilhelminian period, next to the Wannsee, and has a large number of members and collaborators. They host a variety of public events, be it book presentations, outdoor festivals, reading courses in small scenarios or comedian varnishes, meetings, a laboratory of playwrights or fairs.
Two places are offered, both for the same period: from November 15 to December 15, 2025.
This call occurs in the frame of the new grant line In kind and non -competitive concurrence to carry out international residences in the centers with which the Institut Ramon Llull has a collaboration agreement. Thanks to the agreements, artists and authors of the Catalan artistic and cultural field, they will be able to participate in strategic residences in all disciplines. The expenses covered by the in -kind subsidy are the accommodation, the maintenance and the organization of the residence. The calls for the Château de Lavigny and Casamia have already been announced.
Applications must be sent through a form with the following documentation:

Fragment of a published or unpublished work (in Catalan and in English or German translation, if available), of between 5 and 10 pages.
A jury consisting of representatives of Literary Colloquium Berlin will select the residents in accordance with the following criteria:

That the candidates have at least one original literary work published in Catalan of exclusive authorship, in some of the following genres: narrative, poetry, theater, non-fiction and children’s and youth literature.

The relationship of the project with the lines of action of the host institution. The relationship with the priority creation lines for the residence center, linguistic fluidity and capacity for integration with the other residents, willingness to exchange and interaction with the other residents and guests, as well as the disposition to participate in return activities, is valued.

The relevance, interest and quality of the proposed project. Aspects such as the solidity and viability of the project, the topics covered and the quality of the writing are evaluated.
