Mira Festival – Grid Arrives, The New Meeting Space for Catalan Musical and Visual Artists


Together with Canada and Plato Nou, and with the Support of the Department of Culture of the Generalitat of Catalonia, We Announed the Launch of Grid, an innovative project that redembles the audiovisual experience through immersive technology.

GRID LEVERAGES THE POSTERY OF PLATÓ NEW’S Virtual Production Studio, Developed by Lavinia and Appia, to Create to Collection of Unique Audiovisual Sessions. The Project Brings together performances by Emergencing Musicians and Visuals by Catalan Artists, cured by Mira and Carefully produced by Canada. The result is 15-Minute Audiovisual Pieces that Expore New Creative Languages ​​and Offer a DeepLy immersive Experience for the Audience.

Grid’s Main Goal is to Internationally Showcase Catalan Talent, Giving Visibility to Visual Artists and Emerging Musicians. The Project Aims to Create a Distinctive and Recognizable Format, Building a Historical Visual Catalog of Catalan Creations and Documenting the Current Creative Boom.

The Program

Grid Follows with Simple Dynamic: For Its First Season, Five 15-Minute Video Capsules have been produced, Each Featuring in Musical Artist and a Visual Artist. These Pieces Will Be Revelated Monthly on Its Website and Mira’s YouTube Channel.

On the musical side, the first confirmed artists are Tiemi, damoridemort, Pauk, and 1v4n. In the visual Arts Field, They Will Be Joined By Desilence, Pol Red, Martina Ampuero, Eyesberg and MassForming Creative Pairs That Will Use the Grid Studio As a Blank Canvas.

Each Musical Performance Will Feature Exclusive Material, Which The Visual Artist Will Interpret to Create Something Uniquely Customized for Each Piece.
