Maldà Cinema Card 2026
2025 has been a devastating year for Maldà. A lot of unforeseen repairs have accumulated (projector, cabin air conditioning, ticket machine…) and we have suffered a brutal drop in revenue (11.2% less than the previous year).
To make it clear and direct: much less income and much more expenses.
An UNSUSTAINABLE SITUATION.
To give you an idea:
- The air conditioning bills for this hot summer were higher than what our monthly rent costs!!! )
- For the first time since the pandemic we had to close for 4 days because the projector server crashed and the replacement (expensive) came from London…
- We also had to invest in the new accessibility measures of the Generalitat and adapt a toilet for people with reduced mobility.
You know that Cinema Maldà is the resistance in person, but in order to breathe we need your help.

The person with the symbolic card number 1 of the 2026 edition is JAFAR PANAHI, the last winner of the Palme d’Or in Cannes with “Un simple accidente” and the only director to have won the first prize at the three most important film festivals (Cannes, Berlin, Venice). We could have chosen a much more well-known name, but you know that we have independent cinema in our veins.

- adult – €125/year PROMO1: If you buy or renew your card before 31/12 you get a €10 discount PROMO2*: If you bring someone who gets their card for the FIRST time before 12/31, you get a €10 discount. *Cumulative promos.
- young man (up to 25 years – born from 2000 onwards) – €100/year
- Solidarity – enter the number (from €125)
Features of the card:
All the detailed information is here (in Catalan / en castellano) but we summarize them for you advantages:
- Be part of an exclusive club for one year (from January 1 to December 31, 2026).
- Access to all commercial cinema sessions from Monday to Sunday (holidays included).
- €2 discount on the entry of your companions (maximum 2 people with a discount) except on the day of the spectator@ or sessions that already have a reduced price.
- Two invitations to celebrate your birthday.
- Rental of the room at a reduced price (adapting to the availability of the cinema).
If we haven’t convinced you yet…
- You pay the card once and you have a flat cinema rate throughout 2026! Like Netflix or Filmin, but on the big screen!
- You only need to come once a month to pay off the purchase! It costs around €10 a month! If you sell twice a month, you get around €5/month! And if you come once a week for only €2.3/month!
- If it’s the first time you get your card, we’ll let you get it before January 1st! Take advantage!
- If you have to give a special gift for these holidays and you need it to be a success, give a Cinema Maldà card!

- Plan to go to the movies more often.
- Buy a ticket from our great Panera Cultural at the cinema box office (€6).
- Buy a Christmas pack (5 tickets for €25 with non-extendable validity until 12/31/2026) at the cinema box office.
