Bases of the call for photo exhibitions
Her Annual call for photo exhibitions of the CC Pati Llimonapromotes the visibility of artists and their creations on the Barcelona cultural circuit, and materializes his work in the different exhibition spaces that we manage from the Pati Llimona.
Subject matter
The theme is free, the project can be individual or collective. Only one project will be accepted per person and/or collective.
Calendar
Opening of the call: At 10 am on September 1 2025.
Call closing: at 10 am on September 15 2025out of these dates no proposals will be accepted.
Communication to the selected: During the last week of September 2025.
Selection of projects and prize
The jury will select 1 project to enter the Exhibition program of the Pati Llimona Civic Center.
This project will receive a sponsorship of € 1000.00 (without VAT), which will be used exclusively for the printing of the project presented to this call.
The CC Pati Llimona will pay directly to the laboratory chosen by the winner, this amount.
Commitments
As a mandatory commitment, the winning exhibition project is committed to quoting CC Pati Llimona and the call, each time you use the printed images through the prize of this call.
Selection criteria
The selection criteria that will be evaluated will be:
- The technical quality of the images presented.
- Use of the different photographic languages.
- The coherence of the project.
- The degree of development of the project to be exposed.
- In case of use of images taken with IA, you must warn and explain the reason for the use within the project. In the event that the organization deems appropriate, the RAW files may be requested from those images that the jury deems necessary.
- The integration of the proposal within the different exhibition spaces*.
Is will especially evaluate, propose activities related to the project presented (Ex: Guided tours, pedagogical or informative talks, etc) organized by the same person who presents the project.
The activity, the tasks to be carried out by the person who proposes, and the tasks to be carried out by the CC Pati Llimona, must be specified.

- The pictures. Must be in low quality JPG format (not higher 1 MB each).
- A document that contains the presentation and explanation of the project, with the techniques used. A summary of the project of Maximum 1500 characters/ 250 words. Information of quantity, dimension and support of the images to be exposed (in the event that the exhibition phase of the project is not closed, the participation of the project will not be excluded)

Conditions
- All people, older people, can participate.
- The selected people must be present during the assembly, inauguration and dismantling of the exhibition.
- If necessary, the Pati Llimona Civic Center will provide technical advice for the assembly, which must be completely ordered by the selected person.
- The participant is responsible for having the authorship of the photographs and/or having their copyrights, as well as the right to use the image of the people who can be recognized.
- The Pati Llimona Civic Center is responsible for disseminating through:
- Printing up to 200 postcards (approximately) of the exhibition.
- Dissemination for your social networks.
- The author will collaborate with the Pati Llimona to disseminate the exhibition through his own communication tools and networks.
- In the event that the author wants to secure his work, the expenses will be borne by his. The Civic Center assumes no responsibility with the works on display.
- The winner will not be able to re -exhibit in the Llimona courtyard, at least, until a call has passed between his selection and the presentation of a new project.
- The works will be returned to their owners, immediately, after the exhibition and up to two weeks maximum. Once this time has passed, the Pati Llimona Civic Center is not responsible for this material.
- Participation in this call means acceptance of the conditions stipulated.
