This proposal aims to respond to an increasingly visible challenge: the translations of Catalan are often published in peninsular Spanish, which can generate a certain distance between the work and the Latin American readers. The Seminar wants to move towards translations that dialogue with the linguistic diversity of Latin America.

- Attendance to literary events of the program of the thread.
Participation conditions:
- The Institut Ramon Llull will cover the Accommodation and Travel Expenses in Guadalajara. Priority will be given to translators resident in Mexico and, secondly, those who can travel to the country by their own means.
