International Competition of New Roses

The 26th International Competition of New Roses will take place from 8 to 10 May 2026 at the Roserar in the Cervantes Park in Barcelona. The competition always coincides with the first flowering of the roses and awards, according to the criteria of a prestigious international jury, the best specimens created by breeders of new rose varieties from all over the world.

This year, 33 breeders from Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, the United States of America, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Poland and South Africa are competing. On Friday, May 8, the Cervantes Park Rose Garden will open to the public at 5 p.m.
