The Disseny Hub Barcelona prepares to welcome Christmas with Around: a light installation that is inspired by the tradition of the King’s cake and moves this everyday scene to the lobby of the DHub, turning an intimate gesture into a collective and monumental experience. The installation consists of an inflatable tortellini six meters in diameter, lit from within, which occupies the space as a giant and surprising presence and turns the DHub into the big Christmas table. The work incorporates an interactive device that turns the tortell ritual into a game full of good wishes and Christmas spirit.
