Humor, struggle and female rebellion on the road
From August 14 to September 14, the Versus Glòries room recovers Fisterrawritten by Ferran Gonzálezdirected by Xenia watering and interpreted by Gemma Martínez and Marta Tomasa. After the good reception of the public last season, the show returns to the summer billboard.
The play presents a Road Movie Theatrical starring two women who are by chance in a taxi path of Fisterra. A Galician who drives a taxi but does not want to be a taxi driver, and a recently widow who travels with a mysterious shoe box. The journey between Pontevedra and the head of Fisterra will take them to share secrets, suspicions and confidences, as they flee from an oppressive society for their gender and face a life that has been invisible.
A comedy inspired by the Almodóvar aesthetics
With a text full of agile dialogues, non -discouraged humor and social background, Fisterra It places women in the center of fiction who have already passed the threshold of fertility, who do not fit into conventional aesthetic canons and rebel against the sentence of remaining impassive to a predictable and little hopeful future.
The show combines a direct comicism with an aesthetic inspired by the cinematic universes of Pedro Almodóvar and Wes anderson. The stage complicity between Gemma Martínez and Marta Tomasa holds a proposal that seeks to make laugh, but also to appeal, through a feminine and critical look.
