Friends, this Friday the 27th at Bodega La Riera we strike in solidarity with the Palestinian people, against the genocide of Israel and the Zionist regime. Let’s take the opportunity to make a reminder that is useful for the 27/s, but also for any general strike day: If we strike, we strike completely ✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽 La Riera is a bar and we are a cooperative, when we strike we do it out of absolute solidarity, apart from giving up our salary, we give up a day without income, which for a small project like ours, is quite expensive. Likewise, we do it with pride, don’t doubt it, we try to maintain a political spirit as much as possible, without forgetting that we are a labor project and we have our limitations. We think it’s great to celebrate a day of struggle with our colleagues, but remember to buy everything you’ll need the day before, because if we have a general strike, we don’t consume, we don’t go to the supermarket and no, we don’t go to the bar either. We don’t reward those who don’t go on strike, may the struggle accompany us throughout the day 😊 So on the 27th we’ll see each other in the streets and, the rest of the days, we support cooperative and local projects 🖤❤️
